Air Conditioning Engineer

Overview

In this role, you will design, install, and service air conditioning systems on-site for Rolls-Royce at Bristol, contributing to comfortable, efficient client spaces. You will work with a global team to deliver reliable climate control and uphold safety and quality standards. The position offers hands-on troubleshooting, quote preparation, and the chance to operate across split, VRF, AHU, and DX systems. Your work supports JLL’s mission to create optimal environments and sustainable spaces.

Responsibilities

• Attend and complete PPMs and Reactive works, including breakdowns
• Perform installations and retrofits of A/C systems
• Troubleshoot and fault-find on all air conditioning systems
• Prepare quotations for works/remedials after service visits
• Work on Split, VRF, AHU, DX systems and some Central Plant
• Collaborate with team members and work independently when needed
• Complete FGAS paperwork and maintain site logbooks
• Be available for Out of Hours Call Out rota

Key requirements

• C&G 2079 Cat1 or equivalent
• NVQ Level 3 or similar
• F-Gas qualification
• Good mechanical & electrical background
• Knowledge of building fabric and basic fabric repairs
• Health & Safety awareness in maintenance
• UK driving license
• IT literacy (Outlook, Word)
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Prepared to work out of hours and on call rota
