Overview
In this role you will support hydraulic modelling studies for core water clients, build and interrogate models, and contribute to urban drainage projects. You will work within a team to improve asset performance and support feasibility studies and optioneering. The position offers hybrid working, progression opportunities, and a chance to influence approaches to efficient delivery. You will apply your technical expertise to deliver high-quality modelling work that supports project delivery and client outcomes.

Responsibilities
- Interrogate and enhance existing models and develop new models to assess asset performance
- Provide technical input on urban drainage projects and support the wastewater team
- Support feasibility studies and optioneering efforts
- Use network models to evaluate and optimise asset performance
- Prepare reports and supporting drawings
- Contribute to current and future project delivery with a focus on technical quality and service efficiency
Key requirements
- Degree in a relevant discipline (engineering, environmental science, geography)
- Chartered membership of a relevant professional institution (ICE/CIWEM) or working towards chartership
- Sound knowledge and experience in urban drainage modelling and ability to check others’ outputs
- Extensive experience of hydraulic modelling using industry-standard software, specifically InfoWorks ICM or similar
- Familiarity with GIS tools (ArcGIS, QGIS, MapInfo)
