Senior Product Counsel / Product Counsel

Overview

As Product Counsel you will act as a strategic legal partner to Product and Engineering, guiding regulatory and contract decisions to enable rapid, compliant go-to-market. You will collaborate across Marketing, Compliance, Risk, and Support to ensure clear, on-brand messaging and pragmatic risk management. You’ll stay ahead of regulatory developments and translate them into actionable guidance that supports Dojo’s growth in the experience economy. This role blends legal expertise with commercial insight to help product-led growth in a fast-paced payments environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the legal partner for Product and Engineering, advising on regulation and compliant development workflows
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts while scaling legal processes to speed delivery
• Collaborate with Marketing and Compliance to ensure messaging and promotions meet regulatory and brand standards
• Advise Risk and Customer Support on escalations and inquiries
• Provide broader commercial and regulatory guidance as the business evolves
• Monitor regulatory developments and translate them into actionable business insights

Key requirements

• 3-5 years of post-qualification experience in private practice and/or in-house, preferably in technology or financial services and product-focused issues
• Experience in financial services regulation and strong contract law knowledge
• Pragmatic, commercial problem-solver with ability to give clear guidance in a fast-paced environment
• Strong collaboration and influencing skills across multiple levels of the business
