Overview
In this role you will lead the electrical design effort across multiple projects within a sustainability‑led consultancy. You will work closely with multi‑disciplinary teams to deliver creative, efficient designs and ensure quality, budget, and programme targets. You will mentor junior engineers and coordinate with clients and collaborators to drive high‑impact, landmark projects in Glasgow. Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver electrical design across multiple projects.
- Coordinate with mechanical, structural, and environmental design teams.
- Develop sustainable and innovative engineering solutions integrating multiple technologies.
- Ensure design quality, accuracy, and codes/standards compliance.
- Manage project timelines and budgets with proactive client communication.
- Mentor and support junior engineers to foster growth and collaboration.
Key requirements
- Degree-qualified in Electrical or Building Services Engineering
- Experience in a consultancy environment
- Strong understanding of building services systems and sustainable design principles
