Integration Delivery and Support Specialist

Overview

As a Consultant Specialist at HSBC, you will help shape and run the engineering for the Self Service Device estate across the UK, collaborating with global SSD teams and security partners. You will evaluate new technologies, run proofs-of-concept, and ensure solutions meet security standards. You will also support deployments, automation, and ongoing operations of self-service devices. Responsibilities

• Support operating systems, build images and infrastructure software for the UK self-service device and express bank tablet estate
• Provide consultancy on self-service device software development projects
• Develop solutions to automate and simplify self-service device operations
• Assist third-party field engineers and helpdesk with deployment and BAU issues
• Own patching and software upgrade process for self-service devices
• Assist with audit discussions and remediation for self-service device infrastructure
• Support hardware evergreen initiatives
• Contribute to global self-service device engineering initiatives; lead some initiatives
• Contribute to Windows protection tool sets

Key requirements

• Extensive understanding of End Computing security and networking with Windows 10/11 experience
• Strong Active Directory / GPO and SCCM/MECM infrastructure knowledge
• Ability to write Bash, VB, PowerShell, or Python scripts
• Knowledge of ITIL/DevOps/Agile concepts and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of Confluence/JIRA
• Ability to gather client requirements and work independently
