Site Manager Nights

Overview

In this role you will manage a Tesco supermarket fit-out project for a main contractor on night shifts in Ilkley. You will ensure safety, coordinate subcontractors, and track progress and quality on a retail fit-out of Tesco. The assignment spans about 8 weeks starting mid-October. Key tickets are required and you will report to the main contractor, ensuring project milestones are met. This is an equal opportunity role.

Responsibilities

• Manage night-shift site operations on a Tesco fit-out project
• Coordinate subcontractors and trades to maintain schedule
• Enforce health, safety and quality standards on site
• Monitor progress, cost control and site logistics
• Liaise with main contractor and client to report progress
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and regulations

Key requirements

• Previous supermarket fit-out experience, ideally Tesco
• Tickets: SMSTS, CSCS (Black/White), First Aid, Fire Marshall, Asbestos Awareness
• Location: Ilkley, LS29; start mid-October; duration ~8 weeks
• Permissible to work nights
• Experience working for a main contractor on retail projects
