Overview
In this global role you will shape the employee relations agenda and partner with CPO, HR, Legal, and senior leaders to steer complex, sensitive workplace matters. You will lead investigations, refine ER policies, and support a scalable service model. You’ll monitor trends and regulatory changes to drive improvements and deliver ER training across multiple regions. This role offers the chance to influence ER strategy from the ground up in a matrixed, cross-border environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and guide complex workplace investigations (harassment, discrimination, GDPR-related issues)
- Develop, refine and standardise ER policies, processes, and tools
- Support a tiered ER service delivery model and act as escalation point for high-risk cases
- Monitor ER trends, case data, and regional regulatory changes to inform global ER initiatives
- Design and deliver ER training for managers and employees across multiple countries
- Partner with Global ER team to ensure alignment and drive continuous improvement across regions
Key requirements
- Degree in HR, Employment Law, or related field
- Proven experience managing Employee Relations across multiple jurisdictions (EMEA, APAC, Canada helpful)
- Strong knowledge of labour laws and ER frameworks
- Outstanding judgement, risk awareness, and problem-solving skills
- Experience using HRIS or ER case-management tools (e.g., Workday Help)
- Experience in global, matrixed HR environment and HR Shared Services model
- Professional certifications such as CIPD, SHRM, or IHRP with ER/investigations focus
