Systematic Crypto Trader

Overview

In this role you will operate and optimize live systematic crypto trading strategies across centralized exchanges within a global Digital Assets team. You will collaborate with researchers and developers to improve signals, robustness, and performance while focusing on execution quality and capital efficiency. The role sits at the intersection of trading, analytics, and technology, offering exposure to market microstructure and cross-venue dynamics. You will work in a meritocratic, performance-driven environment to scale a rapidly growing digital assets business.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage live systematic trading strategies across centralized exchanges
• Optimize execution quality, slippage, funding exposure, and capital allocation
• Perform performance attribution and post-trade analysis
• Apply quantitative methods to improve risk-adjusted returns and robustness
• Collaborate with quantitative researchers to refine signals and parameters
• Work with developers to enhance trading infrastructure and automation
• Analyze market microstructure, liquidity fragmentation, and cross-venue dynamics
• Identify and resolve trading, connectivity, and operational issues
• Support disciplined intra-day risk management and reporting

Key requirements

• Demonstrated experience trading cryptocurrencies in a professional or highly active capacity
• Experience operating systematic or semi-systematic trading strategies
• Strong quantitative reasoning and comfort with statistical concepts
• Deep familiarity with centralized cryptocurrency exchanges (CeFi)
• Understanding of crypto derivatives markets (perpetuals, futures, options)
• Advanced working knowledge of Python for data analysis or scripting (required)
• Working basic knowledge of Linux
• Willingness to continue developing technical skills
• High standards for risk management and operational discipline
