Overview

In this Product Owner role, you drive the Deposits Enablement component to support the platform’s strategic aims. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into actionable epics and stories, prioritise work by value, and guide the pod through clear acceptance criteria. You’ll measure outcomes post-launch and continuously improve user experience and operational readiness. Responsibilities

  • Define and own epics and stories for the deposit component aligned to strategic goals
  • Collaborate with operations and client teams to translate business needs into backlog items
  • Prioritise work based on business value using revenue, KPI and KRI metrics
  • Provide day-to-day guidance to the pod on story details and acceptance criteria
  • Escalate issues to managers when needed and understand inter-feature dependencies
  • Define measurements and instrumentation to analyze post-release results
  • Assess UX quality and recommend improvements
  • Create wireframes independently or with design
  • Sign off on stories through validation and Sprint Reviews
  • Coordinate handoff for operational readiness, training, or adoption and track future metrics
  • Promote agile ways of working, DevOps, and automated testing

Key requirements

  • A number of years related experience in financial services, deposits product experience preferred
  • Ability to break down complex initiatives into small epics and stories delivering incremental value
  • Effective collaboration skills
  • Ability to influence, make hard decisions, and problem solve
  • Passion for changing the status quo and out-of-the-box thinking
  • Ability to adapt and lead through change
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, computer science, engineering or related discipline, or equivalent work experience
