Overview
As Principal Electrical Engineer you will own the electrical discipline within a busy, established building services practice in London. You will set technical standards, drive design direction, and shape the work the team takes on, influencing project outcomes and client relationships. You’ll mentor both senior and junior engineers, lead major electrical designs, and contribute to business development with the backing of a reputable firm. This is a senior leadership role with real autonomy to shape a practice and its impact.
Responsibilities
- Lead major electrical design efforts across projects
- Set and uphold technical standards for the discipline
- Shape the work portfolio and win/shape opportunities
- Mentor and develop senior and junior engineers
- Drive business development and client relationships
- Influence how the electrical discipline runs within the practice
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated building services

- Chartered Electrical Building Services Engineer
