Delivery Manager – Defense & National Security Accounts | UK

Overview

As Delivery Manager for Defense & National Security accounts, you own end-to-end UK programs, leading engineering teams and managing client relationships. You drive governance, financial performance, and delivery excellence across multi-million-pound engagements spanning application services, cloud, cybersecurity, data, and AI. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet security, regulatory, and contractual obligations while growing Infosys’ defense portfolio. This role offers impact at scale within a strategically important sector.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of UK defense engineering programs and manage engineering teams to meet scope, schedule, quality, and cost goals
• Oversee a portfolio of defense and national security programs with accountability for delivery, operations, and customer satisfaction
• Manage multi-million-pound engagements across digital transformation, cloud, cybersecurity, data, and managed services
• Establish and execute program governance, risk mitigation, and reporting
• Ensure programs adhere to scope, schedule, quality, security, and budget parameters
• Act as primary executive interface with defense customers and senior stakeholders
• Drive customer satisfaction and identify opportunities for account growth
• Coordinate program reviews, steering committees, dashboards, and risk forums; ensure regulatory and security compliance
• Support defense account growth strategies, proposals, renewals, and contract extensions
• Lead geographically distributed delivery teams and mentor delivery leads, program managers, and architects
• Foster a high-performance culture focused on quality, accountability, innovation, and client success
• Ensure adherence to UK defense security standards, classification, export controls, and information assurance

Key requirements

• Minimum 10+ years in program or delivery management roles
• Experience managing large defense, aerospace, government, or national security programs
• Active UK Security Clearance (SC) or eligibility to obtain and maintain SC clearance
• Strong skills in large-scale program management, governance, risk, and stakeholder engagement
• P&L ownership, contract management, and supplier/vendor management
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams across UK, Europe, and global delivery centers
• Experience with agile and hybrid delivery models
• Knowledge of defense industry compliance and security & risk governance
