Overview
In this role you will manage a varied caseload in insurance disputes for major insurers and reinsurers, tackling complex coverage, PI, and FI/D&O matters. You will work closely with insurer clients and help expand market relationships within a collaborative, commercially minded team. The role offers exposure to cyber breach response and emerging areas like FinTech and Tech E&O, contributing to a forward-thinking practice at a leading national firm.

Responsibilities
- Manage a varied, high-value caseload of insurance disputes
- Handle defendant professional indemnity, FI/D&O, and complex policy coverage matters
- Lead cyber breach response and coverage work for insurers/reinsurers
- Engage with key insurer clients and develop market relationships
- Collaborate with a commercial, forward-thinking team to drive outcomes
- Provide clear, commercial drafting and advice
- Contribute to team culture and knowledge sharing
Key requirements
- 4+ years PQE in insurance litigation, coverage or professional indemnity
- Experience at a City, major regional or international firm
- Strong drafting skills with the ability to deliver clear, commercial advice
- Confidence handling insurer clients and complex matters independently
- Excellent communication, judgement and project management skills
