Overview

As Senior Sponsorship & Marketing Executive, you will plan and execute a diverse programme of events, sponsorships and integrated campaigns to strengthen our brand and drive business growth. You’ll collaborate across the business to deliver client experiences, conferences, webinars, sponsorship activations and regional initiatives. You’ll manage budgets, coordinate venues and partners, and ensure activities deliver measurable impact. You will share best practices and guide stakeholders to maximise value, while continually improving events and marketing activity.

Responsibilities

  • Support development and delivery of annual events and sponsorship strategy
  • End-to-end planning and execution of in-person and virtual events (conferences, webinars, networking, activations)
  • Collaborate across teams to deliver client and prospect experiences
  • Build relationships with branch and regional teams for local events and community initiatives
  • Manage event budgets and ensure commercial outcomes and measurable results
  • Source and manage venues, suppliers, agencies and technology partners
  • Coordinate registrations, communications, hospitality and logistics
  • Maximise sponsorship opportunities through activation and campaign support
  • Develop and deliver integrated marketing campaigns to promote events and sponsorship activity
  • Create engaging content (invitations, emails, presentations, promotional materials)
  • Evaluate performance via post-event reporting, insights and ROI analysis
  • Share best practices and contribute ideas to improve events and marketing activity

Key requirements

  • Experience in events, sponsorship, marketing or related role
  • Track record delivering successful events from planning to execution and evaluation
  • Strong project management and organisational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication and copywriting skills
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Experience managing budgets and working with external suppliers and partners
  • Experience using event management and webinar platforms (e.g., Cvent, Zoom Webinar)
  • Experience in financial services, professional services or regulated environment beneficial but not essential
  • Strong organisational skills
