Senior Commodities Risk Manager

Overview

In this role, you will lead the commodities market risk management, shaping risk strategies and ensuring regulatory and internal policy adherence. You’ll engage with business and risk committees to balance risk and return while driving changes across the commodities business. You will assess external events, calibrate risk limits, and support new product launches, contributing to ICAAP processes and stress testing. Responsibilities

• Support Commodities market risk management with forward-looking analyses
• Communicate and implement risk management framework and internal policies
• Engage with business and risk committees to discuss exposures and limits
• Drive change in the Commodities business with risk and group functions
• Manage Traded Market Risk for the Commodities portfolio and review limits
• Highlight risk concerns to committees and risk forums
• Contribute to ICAAP for Commodities-related positions
• Enhance risk processes and advise on limits calibration
• Participate in market risk forums and risk appetite monitoring
• Coordinate stress shock responses for regulatory purposes
• Monitor risk-taking and follow up on breaches of risk appetite

Key requirements

• University degree in Finance or a quantitative subject (Science, Engineering)
• Proficient written and verbal communication across functions and with senior management
• Experience in Market Risk and Commodities knowledge
