Cyber Security Contractors – SC Cleared

Overview

In this contract-based opportunity, you join a major, long-term cyber security programme as an SC-cleared professional across several specialist disciplines. You will work remotely in the UK with occasional client-site visits, contributing to secure-by-design solutions and security services in a complex environment. This programme focuses on protecting critical systems through architecture, operations, threat intelligence, and governance activities. A strong security mindset and stakeholder collaboration are key to delivering high-impact security outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Security Architect (Cloud Security): design and validate cloud security architectures, conduct security assessments and risk reviews, implement security standards and patterns, collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to ensure secure-by-design solutions.
• Security Operations Analyst: monitor security operations, perform cyber threat intelligence assessment, conduct threat modelling and risk identification, investigate security incidents and events.
• Threat Intelligence Analyst: produce threat intelligence reports, analyze indicators of compromise (IOCs) and TTPs, track emerging threats and actors, support security decision-making.
• Information Assurance Consultant: perform IA/GRC activities, support quality assurance and governance, contribute to BCDR planning and assessment, review policies, controls, and compliance.

Key requirements

• Security Architect (Cloud Security): strong cloud security architecture background, experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, security design and assurance expertise, knowledge of security frameworks and standards.
• Security Operations Analyst: SOC or cyber defence experience, hands-on threat intelligence and analysis capability, threat modelling expertise, strong cyber security technology/process understanding.
• Threat Intelligence Analyst: proven cyber threat intelligence background, experience analyzing threat actor activity and attack methodologies, strong reporting and stakeholder engagement skills, knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK.
• Information Assurance Consultant: strong IA/GRC experience, knowledge of security governance frameworks, experience in quality management and assurance, BCDR planning expertise.
