Overview

In this role you will design, implement, and maintain Windows-based infrastructure and automation for a leading quantitative trading firm. You will work across Windows and Linux environments, spanning on-prem and cloud, to support OS, authentication, databases, virtualization, network services, and endpoints. You’ll lead platform engineering efforts, delivering automation and reliable systems while collaborating with a culture that values technical rigor and continuous learning. Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and integrate infrastructure systems on Windows-based platforms
  • Maintain operating systems, authentication, databases, virtualization, core network services, and messaging
  • Drive platform engineering designs and automation initiatives
  • Work across Windows and Linux in internal and external environments
  • Troubleshoot and support complex systems with various tracing tools
  • Collaborate in a fast-paced, hands-on environment with cross-functional teams

Key requirements

  • Significant Windows systems automation experience
  • Technical leadership experience
  • Project management experience
  • Excellent PowerShell skills
  • Deep understanding of Windows platform (Active Directory, Failover Clustering)
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Familiarity with Exchange, SQL, SCCM, Hyper-V, ADFS
  • Knowledge of network protocols, Linux, and information security concepts
  • Experience integrating on-premises and cloud environments
  • Experience with containers on Windows and Linux
