Overview

In this role you will help build Moelis & Company’s London-based Infrastructure franchise, providing strategic advisory and financing execution for infrastructure clients. You will work with senior bankers to develop and close M&A and capital-raising transactions, shaping the team’s early-stage growth. Expect cross-functional collaboration with corporates, funds and sovereign/long-term investors, applying rigorous analysis to complex infrastructure deals. Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed financial analysis and valuation (DCF, DDM, comps, precedent transactions) and project-finance analyses
  • Develop and maintain advanced three-statement and project finance models to evaluate transactions
  • Prepare marketing materials (CIMs, management presentations, teasers, investment-committee materials, pitch books)
  • Conduct market and industry research to identify target opportunities and sector trends
  • Assist in transaction execution, including due diligence coordination, process management and client/external advisor liaison
  • Build relationships with corporates, infrastructure funds, sovereign wealth funds, pension funds and other long-term investors
  • Mentor junior team members, assign workstreams, and ensure quality and deadlines

Key requirements

  • Strong analytical, financial modelling, and presentation skills
  • Solid understanding of accounting, corporate finance, and valuation methodologies including project finance
  • Minimum of 3 years in investment banking (M&A or infrastructure-related)
  • Direct sector experience in core infrastructure (transport, social, power, utilities)
  • Proven execution experience on relevant M&A or financing transactions
  • Client-focused mindset with ability to deliver tailored solutions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, team-oriented
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Fluency in English; additional European language advantageous
