Building Surveyor

Overview

As Building Surveyor, you will deliver a broad range of surveying and professional services to established clients while actively sourcing new business. You may guide a team of junior surveyors and manage client relationships, contributing to growth in a medium-sized consultancy. You will work in Essex with hybrid flexibility and a negotiable, generous package. This role offers the chance to handle high-value projects for PLC clients and other developers, shaping delivery and client success.

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional surveying services to a network of clients
• Source new business opportunities and contribute to client acquisition
• Manage and potentially mentor junior surveyors
• Oversee project delivery and ensure high-value outcomes for clients
• Build and maintain strong client relationships for repeat work

Key requirements

• Proven track record in delivering projects and professional services in similar environments
• MRICS or working towards APC
• Ability to manage clients and bring in new work
• Autonomy to deliver high-value work in a medium-sized consultancy
