Overview
In this Manager role, you will lead energy transition initiatives within EY’s Technology Consulting for Power & Utilities. You’ll work with a cross-functional, globally connected team to deliver digitization, modernization, and decarbonization programs for energy clients. You’ll shape strategies, accelerate transformation, and drive value through data, analytics, and technology—tackling grid planning, operations, and markets. This is a collaborative, value-driven opportunity to influence major energy system changes at scale.

Responsibilities
- Support and lead energy transition engagements across the power & utilities value chain
- Design and deliver strategic roadmaps, transformation plans, and operating models
- Architect technical solutions and analyse energy systems, including grid modelling and market design
- Manage workstreams, budgets, scope, and stakeholder communications
- Lead business development activities and contribute to go-to-market materials and proposals
- Deliver high-quality insights and client workshops with senior stakeholders
- Ensure quality assurance and governance across service delivery
- Develop data-driven analyses and support data migration for transformation programs
Key requirements
- Experience in energy/utility sector across value chain
- Strong analytical mindset capable of synthesizing complex information
- Third-level degree with strong academic record
- Experience in fast-paced, multi-vendor environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication with executive influence
- Knowledge of utility transformation and emerging technologies
