Enterprise Manager, EMEA Trade Compliance

Overview

In this role you drive the import-export compliance program for CSL in the EMEA region, ensuring adherence to customs and trade laws while optimizing duty spend. You collaborate with regional and global teams to implement policies, manage risk assessments, and support external audits. You lead regional operations, broker management, and data governance to sustain compliance and operational excellence. This position offers a meaningful impact by shaping compliance processes and enabling cost savings through mitigation programs.

Responsibilities

• Implement CSL Global Trade Compliance Policies and deploy regional/local procedures
• Monitor regional compliance readiness via risk assessments and on-site reviews, and support external audits
• Oversee regional customs brokers, KPI tracking, SOP development, and performance reporting
• Lead cross-functional regional teams for EMEA customs operations
• Manage HS/ECCN classification, origin/preference, and customs value determination
• Support complex customs valuations and license/permit determinations for imports
• Identify risks/opportunities in EMEA and report to Global TC team
• Support government audits and internal audits, and perform post-entry audits
• Manage GTS and Master data (denied parties, embargoes, blocks) and related upgrades/projects
• Drive duty savings through cost-benefit analysis and implementation of duty mitigation programs
• Maintain record-keeping compliance per regional/local CSL policies
• Interface with stakeholders across CSL functions and external partners to enable process improvements

Key requirements

• 5 years of progressive experience in regulated, multi-location environments
• Experience managing complex Customs and trade operations
• Expertise in SAP GTS System and related IT projects
• Knowledge of Customs and Export controls regulations, HS, Explanatory Notes, binding rulings, and valuation rules
• Familiarity with entry processing, freight standards, INCOTERMS, and special customs programs
