Project Manager – Trading Fintech

Overview

In this role you drive the delivery of high‑impact trading software projects within a Tier 1 banking ecosystem. You will lead cross-functional stakeholders to align business goals with fast, reliable releases and define technical solutions for complex trading scenarios. You’ll shape requirements, enforce best practices, and work day‑one on a major cross‑bank data delivery initiative focused on fixed income trading. Responsibilities

• Manage multiple high‑level financial projects and coordinate across stakeholders to meet programme goals
• Lead requirement gathering through workshops and sessions
• Support biweekly software releases and ensure timely delivery
• Define and prioritize solution behavior to satisfy business needs
• Design and propose messaging protocol formats
• Validate requirements with client BAs, development and QA teams to ensure shared understanding
• Engage from day one in a cross‑bank data delivery project focused on fixed income trading

Key requirements

• At least 3 years’ PM experience in IT finance vendor/consultancy/bank
• Prince2 certification
• Solid experience with technology and Agile methodologies
• Experience in project management best practices: planning, risk and issue management, resource allocation
• Background or understanding of trading or financial technology
