Overview
In this role you will shape the product strategy for Waters’ analytical technologies, collaborating with researchers and global marketing to bring breakthrough capabilities to customers in structural biology, omics, and pharma R&D. You’ll own the product lifecycle from concept to launch and beyond, aligning offerings with customer value and company goals. You will lead cross-functional go-to-market efforts, educate sales teams, and drive adoption and growth. This position offers a meaningful role in advancing science-driven solutions at scale.

Responsibilities
- Define and own product vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap
- Lead full lifecycle from concept to EOL decisions, prioritizing features by value and impact
- Conduct customer discovery, VOC, and competitive analysis; build relationships with key opinion leaders
- Develop value propositions, positioning, messaging, and product narratives; apply 4Ps to commercialization
- Lead go-to-market planning and launches; create sales enablement and training content
- Drive product adoption and revenue through targeted campaigns and education; collaborate on demand gen initiatives
- Improve onboarding and engagement to boost retention and satisfaction
- Collaborate with R&D, Engineering, Marketing Services, Sales, and Ops to ensure timely, budget-aligned delivery
- Track KPIs and OKRs to inform decisions and continuous product improvement
- Follow Quality and HSE requirements and maintain product documentation
Key requirements
- Degree in scientific discipline; advanced degree preferred
- Significant experience in product management and product marketing with strong commercialization track record
- Ability to lead global product launches and cross-functional initiatives
- Deep scientific domain knowledge and experience with cross-functional teams
- Proven experience in multi-channel marketing
- Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and leadership skills
