Workday Finance Delivery Lead

Overview

In this role you guide large-scale Workday-based finance transformations for clients, delivering cloud ERP solutions and ensuring value from the Workday investment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams within Accenture’s Workday Practice to design and implement finance modules and controls. You’ll shape solutions using Workday’s financials capabilities, with AI-enabled accelerators to streamline design, testing, and documentation. This is a people-centric, client-facing opportunity to drive measurable improvement in finance processes at scale.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact for Workday financials functionality
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into Workday Financials solutions
• Define and govern design of Workday General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Financial Reporting
• Ensure adherence to financial regulations and internal controls
• Create documentation for processes, configurations, and best practices
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and system optimization
• Oversee the implementation and enhancement of Workday Financials solutions for end clients

Key requirements

• Strong finance transformation track record
• Experience from several full-cycle Workday implementations
• In-depth knowledge of Workday Financials modules (Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, Contracts-to-Cash) including configuration and reporting
• Familiarity with accounting principles, financial processes, and compliance requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Fluency in English
• Ability to meet client travel requirements and manage virtual team and client interactions
• Thrive in a diverse, dynamic environment
• Think analytically and apply logic to solve problems
• Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to articulate complex messages
• Strong desire to work with clients and provide exceptional client experiences
• Experience with Artificial Intelligence and GenAI in the Workday delivery lifecycle (preferred)
• Fluency in French (preferred)
• Workday Finance certification(s) (preferred)
• Experience in Workday Adaptive Planning (preferred)
