Overview
As Regional Lead Planner in Glasgow, you will lead the local planning team and own the planning and scheduling of major projects within the water sector. You will develop and maintain detailed project plans, monitor progress, and advise on delays, risks and opportunities, collaborating with the Head of Planning. This role combines leadership with hands-on planning to drive successful delivery. You shape water infrastructure in Scotland and contribute to high-impact projects within a respected team.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage project plans through the full project lifecycle
- Ensure plans reflect project scope, resources, and dependencies
- Identify and manage risks, advising on impacts to the critical path
- Maintain compliance with company procedures
- Mentor junior planners and lead a high-performing local team
Key requirements
- Extensive planning experience in the water industry
- Proven leadership in managing planning teams
- Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
