Building Surveyor – Building Surveying Job in Belgravia, London – 45,000 – 55,000

Overview

In this Building Surveyor role, you will support the delivery of building safety case works and high-rise remedial projects for a Belgravia-based consultancy. You will work within a small team, liaising with developers, authorities and managers to prepare reports, administer contracts, and contribute to building information packs. The role combines technical surveying with client-facing coordination across the project lifecycle. This is an opportunity to impact building safety, risk reduction and quality across residential, healthcare and education sectors in London and the South East.

Responsibilities

• Assist with delivery of building safety case works and reports
• Support contract administration for high-rise remediation projects
• Prepare building information and support resident liaison processes
• Minute taking and document context in meetings
• Coordinate with project teams across all stages
• Assist with tendering and procurement of consultants and contractors

Key requirements

• Proven Building Surveyor / Project Manager experience
• RICS Accredited Degree or equivalent
• RICS APC pathway or MCIOB or equivalent
• Knowledge of UK Building Regulations and Fire Safety Legislation
• Experience with Building Safety Case reports and residential high-rise remediation
• Diagnostic, building pathology and report writing experience
• Consultancy background preferred
• UK Driving Licence and own car
