Overview
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor in infrastructure, you drive cost management, procurement, and commercial governance across rail, water, aviation, and energy projects. You will lead cost plans, contract administration, and risk reporting while guiding client relationships and mentoring junior staff. This role sits at the heart of a global cost consultancy with a strong project pipeline, enabling you to shape commercial outcomes and project delivery. You will work with cross-functional teams to secure value and ensure contractual compliance.

Responsibilities
- Lead cost management: develop and monitor project cost plans and budgets aligned with client objectives
- Oversee procurement activities: prepare tender docs, evaluate bids, negotiate for best value
- Administer major contracts (NEC, FIDIC or equivalent): manage changes, variations, claims, disputes
- Provide senior commercial insights: cash flow forecasting, risk analysis and reporting
- Engage with clients and stakeholders: maintain strong relationships and coordinate with contractors and regulators
- Lead and mentor juniors: guide technical best practices and professional development
Key requirements
