Overview
In this role you will support experienced lift engineers to perform planned maintenance, minor repairs and safety inspections across various lift systems. You will spend significant time on-site, shadowing service routes and gradually taking on hands-on maintenance tasks to build competence. The role provides a clear development path toward NVQ3 in Lift Engineering and full qualification as an independent engineer. You will contribute to keeping systems safe, reliable and compliant while learning with a collaborative, safety-focused team.

Responsibilities
- Support maintenance, minor repairs and safety inspections on lift systems
- Shadow service routes and assist with fault finding
- Take on hands-on maintenance tasks as skills grow
- Prepare tools and equipment for service visits
- Complete basic service documentation and reports
- Learn to work with different lift types, control systems and components
Key requirements
- Some experience within the lift industry or a relevant engineering background
- Willingness to learn and develop in a hands-on role
- Full UK driving licence
