Clinical Advisor

Overview

In this role you drive clinical guidance and strategic input for health information systems across the InterSystems portfolio in the UK. You’ll collaborate closely with Sales, Implementation, Product and Support to articulate value to executives and clinical leaders. You’ll lead and support customer engagements, translating clinical needs into compelling solution narratives and contributing to business development and procurement activities. Your clinical credibility and advisory stance help shape adoption and optimization of InterSystems solutions at scale.

Responsibilities

• Track healthcare analytics trends and advise executive and product teams
• Lead procurement and bid processes from qualification to proposals and demonstrations
• Provide strategic guidance on behalf of InterSystems for healthcare organisations
• Review informatics trends and advise on addressing clinical and transformation goals
• Support product positioning and go-to-market tactics with clinical insights
• Supply market-driven input for product strategy through direct customer/analyst interactions
• Represent InterSystems to clinical societies, advisory boards and leadership groups
• Communicate strategy to UK healthcare senior leadership
• Influence regulatory considerations and key investments/partnerships
• Provide clinical input to Delivery, Product, and Support teams to enhance adoption and knowledge

Key requirements

• Strong grasp of clinical workflow in community, acute or mental health settings
• Contemporary clinician aware of healthcare trends, managed care, and informatics tools
• Proven leadership with ability to design and implement systems within technical bounds
• Effective communication with diverse stakeholders and consensus-building abilities
• Experience with Healthcare Analytics, Clinical Decision Support, Evidence Based Medicine, Clinical Quality Measures, and EHR systems
• Clinical domain credibility within the healthcare community
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication and time management skills
• Preferred: experience in eHealth in multi-organization settings and health IT implementation
• Desirable: AI-enabled EHRs, CDSS, ambient documentation, or analytics platforms
• Knowledge of Generative AI, machine learning, predictive analytics in healthcare delivery
• Experience advising on digital transformation involving AI, automation or advanced analytics
