Overview

In this Director role, you guide strategic engagements for biopharma clients, shaping competitive strategy across the product lifecycle. You will lead client relationships and cross-functional project teams, turning clinical, regulatory, and commercial insights into actionable guidance. This position blends business development with high-quality project delivery in a fast-growing, PE-backed environment. You’ll help clients unlock brand and portfolio value while expanding Prescient’s footprint in the US market.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to design projects addressing strategic business questions and deliver high client satisfaction
  • Develop and implement strategic client account plans, grow the account team, and expand Prescient’s reach
  • Grow accounts through existing engagements and pursue new business within current clients and brands
  • Oversee project management, including planning, client and team management, data gathering, analysis, and reporting
  • Ensure excellent client service by coordinating with project and account teams
  • Act as a subject matter expert in clinical, regulatory and commercial aspects; mentor junior staff
  • Attend conferences to network with industry experts and present at symposia
  • Work with the marketing team to publish thought leadership content with measurable impact
  • Line manage and develop Competitor Strategy team members to deliver concise, insightful outputs
  • Contribute to the ‘land and expand’ account growth model and build long-term client relationships

Key requirements

  • Relevant/related experience in biopharmaceutical client services or consulting
  • Strong track record in account management and delivering high-quality outputs
  • Proven business development success
  • Solid knowledge of biopharma, especially clinical development
  • Confident, peer-level communication with clients as a strategic partner
  • Excellent framing and solution-forming abilities
  • Ability to handle both detailed work and big-picture perspectives
  • Leadership experience and decisive follow-through
