Overview
In this role you will support a senior Financial Services Regulation team in London, advising banks, asset managers, fintechs and other institutions on UK and cross-border regulatory matters. You will contribute to non-contentious advisory work, governance, authorisations, product launches, outsourcing, and evolving topics such as digital assets, payments and AI. There is potential exposure to contentious regulatory work if desired, within a collaborative, top-tier environment. This is an opportunity to develop a focused practice within a globally oriented law firm.
Responsibilities
- Advise on UK and cross-border non-contentious regulatory matters for financial institutions
- Support regulatory change programs and governance projects
- Assist with authorisations, product launches, outsourcing and related regulatory issues
- Cover regulatory aspects of digital assets, payments and AI
- Contribute to strategic projects and complex transactions
- Provide exposure to (optional) contentious regulatory work as relates to ongoing mandates
Key requirements
- 1–2 years’ relevant experience at a leading law firm or in-house
- Experience in financial services regulation is preferred
- London-based or eligible to work in London
