Overview

As Senior Manager in EY’s ITTS Real Estate, Hospitality & Construction practice, you guide international tax planning and cross-border M&A for multinational clients. You will lead complex engagements, collaborating with partners, lawyers and banks to shape tax strategy and project delivery. The role combines technical tax excellence with client leadership and business development in a fast-growing, globally connected team. You’ll influence operating models, financing, IP structuring, and BEPS risk management in a dynamic market. This is a chance to shape high-profile transactions and mentor the next generation of advisers.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain client relationships, proactively win work and contribute to new business.
  • Oversee delivery of technically complex projects with a practical, business-focused approach.
  • Ensure high quality client service and manage engagement outcomes.
  • Manage potential leads within other areas of the practice.
  • Develop networks internally and externally to leverage the team’s capabilities.
  • Coach and mentor junior staff and contribute to their development.
  • Participate in team strategy and operations, including staff assignments and workload management.

Key requirements

  • ACA/CA/ACCA/CTA; or Tax Inspectors with full Technical Training Course; or Law qualification
  • Degree qualified
  • Experienced corporate tax practitioner
  • Ability to read and interpret existing and new tax statute
  • Experience in client-facing UK tax or similar jurisdiction
  • Experience in the Real Estate sector
  • Project management: planning, prioritising, deadlines, budgeting
  • Client focus and commercial awareness
  • Excellent communication (written and oral)
  • Enthusiastic team player
  • Strong international and UK tax technical skills
  • Tax planning for expansions, reorganisations, and financing structures
