IBA Accounting Insurance

Overview

In this role you will support the IBA division of a growing insurer by overseeing daily cash and aged debt processes. You will work closely with clients, insurers and associates to ensure timely settlements and accurate client statements. The role emphasizes proactive cash management, reconciliation, and timely handling of held balances to sustain solvent, well-managed client accounts. You will operate in a hybrid setup, contributing to a stable, customer-focused finance operation within a expanding insurance business.

Responsibilities

• Monthly review of aged debt, chasing due items and arranging settlements for held balances
• Preparation and reconciliation of client statements and payments
• Daily allocation of cash received
• Daily monitoring of cash, held balances and funding

Key requirements

• Good level of market experience with relevant role experience
• Experience with IBA functions is advantageous
• Experience dealing with large corporate clients is advantageous
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers and associates
• Effective verbal and written communication with clients, insurers and other associates
• Strong time management, prioritisation and meeting deadlines without compromising quality
• Proven problem solving skills for unusual and complex issues
