Area Lead Process Engineer (Gasification) – Staff – London

Responsibilities

• Review E&C and Licensor process design deliverables for gasification scope
• Lead project deliverables for your assigned project area
• Develop process calculations for studies/estimates and design analysis
• Define scope of work and basis of design for studies/projects
• Check subcontractor design quality against client specifications
• Support vendor management during conceptual stages
• Perform safety calculations and contribute to safety reviews (What If, HAZOP, SIL)
• Provide technical resolutions to queries from contractors and licensors/subcontractors
• Manage Change for assigned work packages
• Collaborate within the process engineering team
• Undertake and check process calculations

Key requirements

• Degree qualified
• Experience in Oil & Gas and/or Clean Energy projects (conceptual, FEED, or detailed design)
• Gasification experience essential
• Experience in Energy from Waste or related energy projects advantageous
• Site experience with design background beneficial
• Strong planning, organization, communication, teamwork and problem solving
• Good numeracy, literacy and IT skills
