As a Corporate Solicitor you will join a respected Corporate & Commercial team to advise on high-quality transactions for entrepreneurial businesses and owner-managed companies. You’ll handle M&A, disposals, buyouts, reorganisations, and employee ownership matters, supporting clients from formation to ongoing governance. Responsibilities

  • Advising on mergers and acquisitions, business disposals, management buyouts, group reorganisations and employee ownership trusts
  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating corporate documentation (share purchase agreements, investment agreements, shareholders’ agreements)
  • Supporting clients with company formations, corporate governance matters and ongoing compliance obligations
  • Managing due diligence exercises and coordinating transactions from instruction through to completion
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships, becoming a trusted adviser to businesses and stakeholders
  • Contributing to networking and business development initiatives

Key requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor status with at least 1 year’s PQE in Corporate Law
  • Experience advising on a range of corporate transactions
  • Strong technical knowledge of company law and transactional work
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills
  • The confidence to manage matters independently while working collaboratively within a team
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to effectively manage competing deadlines
