Overview

In this role you own the Case Risk Rating (CRR) framework, translating risk requirements into actionable specifications and ensuring alignment with BCG’s risk appetite. You will oversee end-to-end methodology, data needs, and governance, while partnering with the CRR product team and ERM to drive adoption and data quality. You’ll deliver governance-ready insights to senior stakeholders and support framework evolution in a fast-moving, global environment. This position offers visibility to senior risk forums and a chance to shape BCG’s risk management posture.

Responsibilities

  • Own the CRR framework end-to-end, including scoring logic, risk attributes, thresholds, and documentation
  • Define business and data requirements underpinning the CRR methodology and translate them into outputs
  • Monitor data quality and escalate gaps to ensure alignment with framework expectations
  • Lead periodic reviews and evolutions of the CRR methodology with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Prepare governance-ready risk reporting for senior forums and translate findings into actionable insights
  • Partner with the CRR product team to turn requirements into data, reporting, and product specifications
  • Assist adoption and understanding of the CRR framework among end users via guidance and support
  • Represent risk methodology in cross-functional discussions on CRR scope and changes
  • Maintain documentation of framework decisions and version history for auditability
  • Monitor data pipeline health and issue resolution affecting risk scores

Key requirements

  • 5–8+ years in risk management, risk operations, compliance, analytics, or related field
  • Experience owning or managing a risk or compliance framework, methodology, or process
  • Strong analytical and data skills with experience in risk data, dashboards, or structured reporting
  • Excellent written communication and ability to produce high-quality briefings
  • Experience managing relationships with technical, data, and functional stakeholders
  • Familiarity with ERM concepts and risk registers/tools is desirable
  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in Risk, Business, Finance, Public Policy, Analytics, or related discipline; professional certifications are a plus
  • Experience in a global professional services or partner-led environment is beneficial
