Overview
In this role, you will provide contractual expertise within the PYCS department to manage and negotiate procurement agreements across Systems and Equipment, Cabin, and Propulsion. You will support bids, define contractual strategy, and advise on IP, confidentiality, and settlement terms, ensuring compliance and risk controls. The role offers exposure to international projects in a leading aerospace company, contributing to safe and efficient procurement operations. You will collaborate with buyers, suppliers, and stakeholders to shape contract outcomes and resolve issues.

Responsibilities
- Provide contractual expertise to buyers and commodity management during procurement negotiations
- Support Call for Tenders by approving baseline contracts and guiding bid elements
- Define contractual strategy and sourcing models for Airbus projects
- Advise stakeholders on contractual implications (confidentiality, IP)
- Draft ad hoc contractual documents with buyers and commodity management
- Approve contracts prior to signature (e.g., CVF)
- Provide contract life cycle analysis and support for amendments or disputes
- Identify and review key contractual risks with stakeholders
- Develop and enhance training/awareness modules with Procurement
Key requirements
- Previous experience in a legal or procurement role
- Strong contract negotiation skills
- Customer oriented with excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Analytical and rigorous with ability to explain complex topics
- Pragmatic with ability to balance contractual and business risks and compliance
- Keen interest in contracts and experience in drafting and negotiation
