Senior Consultant, Investment Operations – Asset Management

Overview

In this role, you provide expert operational support across Client Administration, Investment Administration, and Portfolio Administration within the NTAM Investment Operations COE. You partner with Portfolio Managers, Trading Desks, and client servicing teams to ensure accurate, compliant and efficient account management. You lead process improvements, manage risk controls, and support governance and regulatory requirements. You will work closely with cross‑functional colleagues to deliver high‑quality outputs that strengthen client service and operational integrity. Responsibilities

• Provide operational support to Portfolio Managers, Trading Desks, and Client Servicing teams
• Perform daily oversight of portfolio positions, cash balances, and operational controls
• Act as a subject matter expert for complex operational and investment-related issues
• Lead and contribute to strategic, cross-functional, and process improvement initiatives
• Drive operational excellence, risk mitigation, and control enhancements
• Support audit, governance, and regulatory requirements
• Build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders, clients, and service providers
• Deliver high-quality outputs with appropriate review and quality control standards
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
• Present recommendations and solutions to senior management and key stakeholders

Key requirements

• Minimum 8 years’ experience within Asset Management, Banking, Financial Services, BPO, or KPO environments
• Strong understanding of investment operations and portfolio support functions
• Proven experience supporting Portfolio Managers, Account Managers, and Trading teams
• Demonstrated experience leading complex operational initiatives and process improvement projects
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification required
• MBA, CFA, FRM, or other relevant professional qualification would be advantageous
