Senior Business Analyst (FTC)

Overview

As Senior Business Analyst you will translate business demand into clear requirements to enable IT delivery across complex initiatives. You will work with SMEs, Product Managers, Project Managers, Architects and Development teams to shape solutions from idea to implementation. The role focuses on identifying opportunities for process improvement and ensuring alignment between systems and operations. You will partner across teams to drive feasibility, business cases and test readiness, contributing to BA standards and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements discovery and definition and document outputs in Azure DevOps using Features and User Stories
• Plan and deliver BA activities across complex, ambiguous initiatives
• Engage with stakeholders at all levels to understand, challenge and prioritise business needs
• Facilitate workshops and decision-making sessions
• Support feasibility assessments and business case development
• Drive business process analysis and improvement aligning systems with operations
• Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities
• Manage and maintain requirements backlogs and baselines
• Contribute to BA standards, tools and best practices

Key requirements

• Significant experience in Business Analysis / IT delivery environments (5–10+ years)
• Strong understanding of business processes and enterprise systems
• Experience across Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery models
• Proven ability to operate in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
• Experience using Azure DevOps, Visio, BPMN or Power BI
