Site Manager

Overview

As a Site Manager, you will lead day-to-day operations on busy commercial fit-out projects, from pre-construction to handover. You will drive the programme, coordinate subcontractors, and maintain safety and quality standards in live environments. The role sits within a collaborative, quality-focused culture with strong client and supply chain relationships. You will help deliver projects on time, within budget, and to high standards, adding value through proactive planning and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations from pre-construction to handover
• Drive programme and ensure on-time, high-standard delivery
• Coordinate subcontractors and sustain site productivity
• Manage site logistics in live/occupied environments
• Maintain high standards of health, safety, and quality
• Identify and mitigate key project risks
• Lead site meetings and communicate with project teams and clients
• Ensure works align with programme, budget, and client expectations

Key requirements

• Proven experience as Site Manager in commercial fit-out/refurbishment
• Track record delivering projects up to 10m
• Strong understanding of programme management and sequencing
• Excellent knowledge of health & safety and site compliance
• Ability to manage logistics and multiple subcontract trades
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications
