Senior Cyber Underwriter

Overview

As a senior contributor at AIG, you will drive cyber-focused growth within Financial Lines by leading regional business development, underwriting new and renewal business, and shaping cyber strategy. You will cultivate broker relationships, contribute to product development and thought leadership, and help execute annual cyber plans. Your expertise supports client outcomes and cross-functional collaboration within a global insurance leader. You will influence process improvements and uphold regulatory and risk controls, while delivering high-quality service to brokers and clients.

Responsibilities

• Drive regional cyber business development by underwriting new and renewal business
• Develop and maintain broker relationships; generate new broker networks and attend events
• Assist in cyber product development, thought leadership, and executing cyber strategies
• Meet underwriting, retention, and financial objectives for the regional cyber team
• Underwrite within decision-making standards; analyze financials and claims history; communicate with brokers
• Utilize designated underwriting systems to streamline data input and information tracking
• Provide excellent broker service with proactive underwriting and business development
• Act as guide/referral point for other underwriters; support team networking opportunities
• Build and maintain strong broker/client relationships; ensure fair treatment and customer-centric approach
• Ensure contract certainty; conduct self-audit/peer-review; comply with regulatory and risk management responsibilities
