Overview
In this role you will lead project management for Life Sciences real estate, delivering high-quality outcomes for a market-leading client base. You will manage resources, risks, budgets, and stakeholder engagement on large public health and life sciences programs. You’ll work within Turner & Townsend’s entrepreneurial culture to drive delivery on the firm’s ambitious 2025 vision. This is an opportunity to shape major capital projects and influence the lifecycle from planning through delivery.

Responsibilities
- Plan and secure project resources using appropriate tools and techniques
- Lead and manage the project team with clear roles and responsibilities
- Identify and mitigate risks and issues with contingency strategies
- Ensure delivery on time and within budget using established methodologies
- Build and sustain stakeholder relationships with effective communication
- Monitor progress with appropriate metrics and indicators
- Evaluate project benefits using evidence-based methods
Key requirements
- Degree in Project Management or Construction Management (preferable)
- NEC accredited Project Manager (preferable)
- Member of a chartered institute (e.g., RICS) or willing to pursue
- Knowledge of construction themes: MMC, Net Zero Carbon, Digital agenda
- Knowledge of project lifecycle and business case approvals
- Experience in large-scale public health and life sciences projects (5 years)
- Experience in master planning/strategic estate development and capital project planning (desirable)
- Experience with NEC contract administration (desirable)
