Overview

Ambitious Finance Manager role at a fast-growing renewable energy infrastructure business. You will own budgeting, forecasting, planning and reporting, while informing senior decision-makers and supporting financing initiatives. The position blends corporate finance, investment analysis and governance, with exposure to strategic transactions as the platform scales. You work closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable finance frameworks and drive value creation in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting cycle
  • Produce financial insights for senior leadership and investors
  • Build financial models focused on equity funding and capital allocation
  • Support financing initiatives including equity transactions, joint ventures and junior financing
  • Support M&A and post-deal integration activities
  • Own cash-flow forecasting and liquidity management
  • Track project economics across construction and operation
  • Deliver month-end commentary on portfolio performance and project economics
  • Develop scenario-based forecasts and conduct variance, trend and sensitivity analysis
  • Improve finance processes through technology, automation and AI
  • Support corporate governance, external debt reporting and VAT reviews
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, outsourced finance teams and external debt/equity partners

Key requirements

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification or equivalent
  • Experience in FP&A, capital allocation or analytically-focused finance roles
  • Strong financial modelling and advanced Excel skills
  • Commercial mindset with ability to translate complex data into recommendations
  • Confident communication and ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Comfort working in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment with ambiguity
  • Proactive, detail-oriented and continuous-improvement mindset
  • Experience in renewable energy, infrastructure or investment-led environments is advantageous but not essential
