Senior Building Physics Engineer

Overview

In this role you will lead the Building Physics team to deliver high-impact, sustainable design solutions. You’ll mentor and develop engineers, fostering a coaching, collaborative culture. You will perform building physics analyses to assess energy performance, thermal comfort, IAQ, and daylight, influencing design decisions. You’ll help shape sustainability strategies and low-carbon targets while collaborating with design teams on high-profile developments. A key part of the role is growing client relationships and expanding the building physics offering to new areas.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Building Physics team through coaching and collaboration
• Conduct building physics analyses using appropriate software to evaluate energy efficiency, thermal comfort, IAQ, and daylight
• Assist in developing sustainability strategies, energy targets, and low-carbon design solutions
• Collaborate with design teams on innovative, high-profile developments
• Manage key client accounts and build long-term relationships
• Expand client offering in building physics into new areas
