Responsibilities
- Serve as technical advisor for your area of expertise within project teams
- Provide specialized input to studies and design; develop procedures to ensure high-quality work
- Participate in interdisciplinary reviews of project deliverables
- Apply discipline knowledge through all stages of contract document development
- Conduct quality control reviews of design calculations and drawings
- Prepare technical specification sections
- Contribute to engineering budget and project scheduling
- Mentor junior and intermediate engineering staff
- Assist management with prioritizing workload for CADD and Revit production
- Coordinate with other discipline leads to meet client objectives in a value-added way
Key requirements
- University Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Six+ years of relevant electrical design experience for buildings/facilities/infrastructure
- Engineering designation (P.Eng)
- Ability to obtain/maintain Reliability and/or Secret security clearances
- Eligible to work in Canada (residency requirements)
