Overview

In this role you will lead the electrical installation delivery on a live refurbishment project within a government framework in Westminster. You will work closely with clients, consultants and internal teams to ensure on-time, safe, and compliant delivery from pre-construction through handover. You will manage budgets, programmes and subcontractors while driving risk mitigation and efficient procurement. This is a long-term opportunity with a major national contractor to shape complex electrical projects in occupied environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage delivery of electrical installation works from pre-construction to handover
• Oversee programmes, budgets, resources and subcontractors for safe, efficient delivery
• Coordinate with client, consultants, internal teams and other trades
• Ensure compliance with legislation, specifications, quality and health & safety
• Monitor progress, identify risks and implement solutions
• Manage procurement, materials and subcontractor packages to stay on programme and budget
• Attend progress meetings and provide updates to client and senior management
• Oversee commissioning, snagging, documentation and final handover

Key requirements

• Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager in building services / M&E
• Experience delivering electrical refurbishment projects, ideally in live/occupied buildings
• Strong knowledge of electrical installations, project delivery, commercial management and health & safety
• Excellent leadership, organisational and client-facing skills
