Finance Manager – Operations

Overview

In this role you will own day-to-day operational finance, focusing on billing, revenue integrity and process improvement to drive a scalable finance operation. You will work with senior finance leadership to streamline workflows and implement automation in a fast-moving services environment. You’ll partner with internal teams to improve reporting accuracy and balance-sheet health while strengthening controls. This is a technology-enabled, growth-focused finance position that shapes how finance supports operations and revenue growth.

Responsibilities

• Manage billing and revenue processes across recurring services, projects, and product sales
• Ensure revenue accuracy and reconciliation between operational systems and finance platforms
• Oversee AP/AR processes and support strong cash collection
• Support faster, more structured month-end close
• Improve controls, reconciliations, and balance sheet integrity
• Identify process inefficiencies and reduce manual workarounds
• Support finance system integration and automation initiatives
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve reporting accuracy and operational workflows

Key requirements

• Experience in finance operations, financial control, or operational finance
• Strong understanding of billing, reconciliations, and revenue recognition
• Experience improving finance processes or systems
• Detail-oriented and process-driven approach
• Confidence working in a growing business environment
• Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred
• Experience in service-led, MSP, SaaS, telecoms, or recurring revenue businesses beneficial
