Responsibilities

  • Deliver pre-contract and post-contract commercial services on large UK infrastructure/rail projects
  • Lead commissions to ensure high standards of service delivery in challenging environments
  • Mentor junior staff and support development across projects
  • Support bids for new work and contribute to cost verification and cost audit processes
  • Prepare professional reports and present findings to clients
  • Collaborate with project delivery teams and client organisations to optimise value
  • Contribute to the firm’s development by sharing knowledge across projects

Key requirements

  • Professional membership (RICS, ICE, etc) or evidence of working towards a recognised professional qualification
  • Commercial Management and/or Quantity Surveying experience on UK civil engineering/construction projects
  • Experience in cost verification and cost audit for rail or transport infrastructure
  • Ability to lead commissions and deliver high-quality outcomes
  • Strong written and client-facing communication skills
  • Organised, diligent, proactive, assertive and commercially astute
  • Eligibility to become Security Cleared
  • Experience mentoring and supporting bids for new work
