Overview

In this role you will shape Turnitin’s enterprise data strategy to enable trusted, scalable, and decision-ready information. You’ll partner with executives to assess the current analytics landscape, define a pragmatic target state, and deliver a roadmap for enterprise reporting and analytics. You will establish governance, ownership, and data quality standards to ensure consistent metrics across functions. This is a chance to influence how a global SaaS education company measures performance and drives decisions with enterprise insight.

Responsibilities

  • Assess current reporting and analytics landscape to identify fragmentation
  • Define ownership and governance principles for critical data
  • Develop high-level target-state architecture for enterprise reporting and analytics
  • Establish standards for metric definitions and trusted reporting
  • Recommend an operating model balancing consistency with functional autonomy
  • Produce a practical roadmap for future implementation and investment
  • Facilitate alignment across executive and business stakeholders

Key requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise data governance, architecture, analytics governance, or enterprise reporting controls
  • Experience across Finance, Sales & Revenue Operations, HR, Engineering, Product, and BI
  • Strong understanding of data lineage, data quality controls, source-system reconciliation, data transformation, and reporting controls
  • Experience supporting Executive, Board & Investor Reporting
  • Governance framework, ownership models, and metric standards definition
  • Cross-functional facilitation to agree on enterprise metric definitions and ownership
  • Operating model design for enterprise data functions including roles, decision rights, escalation, governance forums, and resourcing
  • Familiarity with privacy considerations for customer and employee data
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
