Global Financial Planning & Analysis Manager

Overview

In this role you will shape global financial planning and performance insight for Buro Happold. You’ll partner with senior leaders to translate strategy into measurable financial and operational objectives and drive growth, productivity, and risk management. You will move beyond routine reporting to deliver strategic insights, scenario planning, and evidence-based decision support. This is a high-impact, cross-border finance partnership role with a clear focus on sustainable performance and transformation.

Responsibilities

• Translate business strategy into financial and operational objectives and KPIs
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning with driver-based models
• Deliver scenario planning, sensitivity analysis and forecast accuracy improvements
• Transform data into clear insights to support investments and business cases
• Act as trusted advisor to senior leaders and regional finance teams
• Develop executive-level reporting and compelling performance narratives
• Drive standardisation, automation, and continuous improvement of FP&A processes

Key requirements

• Professional finance qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Significant experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or related field
• Strong forecasting, planning, financial modelling, and analytical skills
• Proven ability to generate meaningful insights from complex data
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing capabilities
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with Power BI or equivalent reporting tools
• Clear communication and presentation skills for senior stakeholders
