In this role you will lead complex tax compliance and reporting engagements to ensure accuracy and high-quality outcomes. You will work within EY’s TARAS team to deliver multi-country projects, partnering with cross-functional colleagues to maintain service excellence. You will nurture client relationships and pursue advisory opportunities that help clients manage tax accounting challenges. Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of complex tax compliance and reporting engagements with technical accuracy
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships and identify opportunities for advisory work
• Manage delivery of related advisory and consulting projects, ensuring service excellence
• Collaborate with other specialist tax teams across the business
• Contribute to internal relationship-building and firm-wide initiatives
• Identify and pursue business development opportunities, including converting leads into engagements

Key requirements

• Strong tax accounting skills and knowledge of relevant accounting standards
• In-depth experience with UK tax accounting and group tax reporting
• Significant experience in corporate tax in practice or in-house
• Strong audit-of-tax background with leadership in tax audits
• ACA / CA / ACCA / CTA or equivalent qualification or HMRC Tax Inspector with full Technical Training Course or Law qualification with relevant tax experience
